Private Occupational Therapy for Adults supports Function, Confidence, and Independence
If you're recovering from a brain injury, living with a neurological condition, or finding everyday tasks more challenging, Occupational Therapy (OT) can help you move forward.
Through a practical, personalised approach, OT empowers you to regain skills, adapt your environment, and build routines that support your goals—whether that's getting back to work, managing fatigue, or simply feeling more confident in your day-to-day life.
Occupational Therapy for You and Yours
What Can Occupational Therapy Help With?
Occupational therapy focuses on the activities that make up your daily life—at home, work, and in the community. Depending on your needs, support may include:
— Returning to work, education, or volunteering
— Managing fatigue, pain, or memory problems
— Coping with anxiety or reduced confidence
— Improving mobility and independence at home
— Daily tasks like cooking, washing, shopping, or using public transport
— Setting up home adaptations or assistive equipment
— Rebuilding routines after illness, injury, or life changes
— Planning and pacing your day to manage energy more effectively

How It Works
Occupational therapy is collaborative and structured around what matters most to you. Here’s what to expect:
1. Free Initial Call
A no-obligation phone or video consultation to explore your needs, answer any questions, and see whether OT is the right fit.
2. Assessment
A detailed, holistic assessment—either in your home or online—covering physical, cognitive, emotional, and environmental factors that may be affecting your independence.
3. Goal Setting & Therapy Planning
Together, we identify meaningful, achievable goals and build a personalised therapy plan. This may include hands-on practice, environmental changes, education, and strategy development.
4. Ongoing Therapy Sessions
Structured sessions to support progress toward your goals—whether weekly or more flexibly. Therapy is purposeful and focused; we don’t believe in “endless” intervention with no clear outcomes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral from my GP?
No. You can contact us directly—no referral necessary.
How long will therapy take?
It depends on your goals and needs. Many clients work with us in short-term, focused blocks (e.g. 6–12 sessions) to build momentum and make meaningful progress.
Can you visit my home?
Yes. We offer in-person sessions across Northamptonshire, Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Leicestershire, Peterborough, and parts of North and Northwest London. Remote support is also available across the UK.
Is this the same as NHS OT?
NHS and private OTs are equally qualified, but private services can often offer faster access, longer sessions, and greater flexibility around timing and location.
